ATG offers free panto tickets to NHS workers
First-night ticket giveaway for Manchester Opera House panto, among others
The country’s largest theatre chain is offering NHS families free first-night tickets to some of its big-name “pandemic pantos”.
Among the Ambassador Theatre Group shows included are Manchester Opera House’s Sleeping Beauty starring Manchester favourite Jason Manford, panto ace Billy Pearce and singing star Jodie Prenger – as well as favourite panto dame and one-time Corrie star, Eric Potts.
ATG is giving all tickets to the opening night (December 12) of this and its similarly-starry pantos in Bristol, Milton Keynes, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham – run with the country’s biggest panto producer, Qdos Entertainments – to NHS staff and their families as part of a scheme underwritten by the National Lottery.
ATG chief executive Mark Cornell said: “We hope this small gesture shows how incredibly grateful we all are for what the NHS has done for this country. “
Since NHS demand could outstrip socially-restricted supply, tickets will be allocated by ballot at the healthservicediscounts site (at which you need to register, if you aren’t already).
