Updated story of Liverpool FC will have to wait 12 months

The extenion of the theatre lockdown has forced Liverpool’s Royal Court to put back its run of YNWA Let's Talk about Six Baby until next spring (April 23 to May 22, 2021).

The play tells the story of Liverpool FC and has been written by one of its biggest fans, with songs from the terraces supported by video footage of all of the great club moments.

Having previously wowed audiences in Liverpool, Dublin and Belfast, the show has been rewritten to update the club’s winning ways of the last couple of years

Tickets will remain valid for the new date, but if the holder can’t make that date, tickets can be swapped for a new date - or a voucher or refund - by emailing the box office here. Email is the best way of making contact, since box office staff are working from home.

The Royal Court’s next scheduled show is Mam I'm 'Ere in July, a decision on which will be made at the end of the current lockdown extension in three weeks.

Tickets for the theatre’s Christmas show will go on sale when the lockdown ends.

The theatre’s executive producer, Kevin Fearon, said: “We want to open up as soon as we can, but the most important thing is the good health of everyone, both staff and audiences, so we will wait as long as we need to until that is secured.”
