Frantic Assembly and Metamorphosis

Updated: Oct 11, 2023

Felipe Pacheco plays the unfortunate Gregor in Frantic Assembly's Metamorphosis

Leading contemporary theatre company Frantic Assembly is back this autumn with a new adaptation of Kafka’s Metamorphosis, kicking off northern dates at York Theatre Royal (October 10-14), followed by Liverpool Playhouse (October 17-21), and The Lowry, Salford (November 14-18).

This collaboration between BAFTA nominated poet, playwright and broadcaster Lemn Sissay and Frantic Assembly’s artistic director Scott Graham uses the company's unique style of physicality and movement to follow Kafka's unfortunate Gregor Samsa when he finds himself transformed from breadwinner into burden in this absurd and tragic story.
