Know your theatre:
Opened in 2015, the architectural brutalism of the interior concrete walls is home to a mightily relaxed, welcoming building with a quirky theatre space, world and independent cinema selection, art galleries, a friendly bar and good food.
The building combines the facilities of the previous Library Theatre and Cornerhouse galleries/cinema and like the latter, is a popular meeting place for arts-minded students that offers a theatre programme some way removed from its Library Theatre predecessor.
Here you will find mainly touring theatre that can be inspiring and brilliantly staged and performed, as well as cutting-edge experimental work.
