Following his show-stopping partnerships on Strictly Come Dancing, Kyiv-born dance champ Nikita Kuzmin will take centre stage in high-octane new dance spectacular, Burn the Floor: Supernova, touring the UK next summer.

Northern dates include Manchester's Bridgewater Hall (June 14), York Barbican (June 16), Darlington Hippodrome (June 17), Blackpool Winter Gardens (June 18), Venue Cymru, Llandudno (June 19), Hull City Hall (June 30), Liverpool M&S Bank Arena (July 5), Newcastle Tyne Theatre (July 14) and Scunthorpe Baths Hall (July 15).

Created by world-renowned choreographer and BAFTA winner Jason Gilkison, the show will be a fusion of movement and music across ballroom, Latin and contemporary styles.

The show will offer new looks at traditional dances such as the waltz and foxtrot, tango and paso doble, and add the energy of cha-cha, samba, rumba and jive.

Burn the Floor, the world’s leading ballroom-based dance company, has been thrilling dance audiences since 1999. Recognised worldwide for reinventing the art form, the company combines world-class dancers, live music and choreography in high-energy performances.

The full team behind the show will be announced later, but the show will feature the company’s trademark cast of multi-disciplined dancers from around the world, alongside live singers.
