HOME promises a lightning spring 2026

Manchester's HOME arts centre has announced a spring-summer 2026 season that kicks-off with the premiere of The Home We Made (January 28-31), created by Manchester theatre company Milandra Jacks and people from across the city.

Bringing to life the best-selling books and the popular films and TV series, The Lightning Thief - The Percy Jackson Musical, arrives February 11-21. It will be followed by Northern Broadsides in a new adaptation of Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment (March 19-21), followed by Thespians (July 7-18), a musical comedy from the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong.



Julia Donaldson’s The Singing Mermaid (May24-25) and Tales from Acorn Wood (April 3-5) lead a family show line-up that also includes The Loneliest Whale (April 25) and Pirate Princess (June 20).

Other stand out shows include the return of the stage adaptation of Ken Loach award-winning film I Daniel Blake (April 21-25); Hofesh Shechter’s new, full-length work for Shechter II, In The Brain (May 27-30) and the Emma Rice Company with rave reviewed musical Malory Towers (June 2-13).
