Johnny Vegas will reprise his TV role as ‘Moz’ - Manchester’s longest serving weed dealer - in a new live 20th anniversary stage version of BBC TV sitcom Ideal.
The show opens at Salford's Lowry (September 8-13) before a tour that takes in small venues including Ilkley, Sunderland, Sheffield and Halifax .

The cast will be Joanna Neary as Judith, the timid necrophiliac who is constantly saying "sorry"; Ryan Pope as Psycho Paul, one of the show’s most scary characters; Emma Fryer as Tania, Colin’s sister; Graham Duff as Brian, one of Moz’s oldest friends, and Ben Crompton as Colin, a child-like petty criminal who is usually on probation.
Twenty years on, Moz is still dealing to a circle of 20-odd friends; some of them very odd indeed...
Written by Graham Duff, the winner of several Royal Television Society awards, Ideal was a major rating hit, ran for 53 episodes between 2005-2011, gathering a devoted, cult following in the process.
