Little Deaths for Hazel Wing Theatre

Sand running through a hand - poster for Little Deaths

New Manchester-based, Black-owned and female-led independent Hazel Wing Theatre brings its debut production Little Deaths, by Manchester School of Theatre graduate Isabelle Palmer, to northern venues 53two (July 13), The Kings Arms, Salford (July 19) and Hope Street Theatre, Liverpool (July 25).

Founder Dionne Hunter said: "We'll focus on developing and producing new writing, providing a supportive space where emerging playwrights and actors can experiment with original work. Our mission is to champion bold, socially-relevant stories and to help new plays progress from first draft to full staging.

"Isabelle submitted an early version of this work to our first scratch night, Hot Off The Page, and was thrilled to be selected. The response was wonderful. Since then we have continued our collaboration, raising a fantastic amount of money and bringing together a lovely group of actors to tour the first full version.
