The new UK tour of international mega-hit musical Mamma Mia arrives at the Manchester Palace next March (March 3-26, 2026) currently the last stop on a list of European and UK dates.

Judy Craymer’s ingenious vision of Abba's hit songs and a sunny tale of a mother, her daughter and three possible dads on a Greek island - directed by one-time Royal Exchange Theatre director Phyllida Lloyd - is now in its in its 26th year and has been seen by over 11 million people and played over 10,000 performances in London’s West End alone.

The international tour has visited 42 countries over the past two decades and the show has been performed more than 3,750 times to more than 7.3 million people. In 2011, Mamma Mia became the first western musical to be staged in Mandarin in China. In all the musical has been seen on stage by over 70 million people across the world - plus millions more viewers of the two record-breaking movies.

Casting for the the UK tour, which opens in Southampton in October, is still to be announced.
