The new production of West End and Broadway hit Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Musical comes to Manchester's Palace Theatre from July 4-30 next year.
The musical tells the delicious tale of golden ticket winner Charlie Bucket and confectionary wizard Willy Wonka.
Featuring memorable songs from the iconic 1970s film alongside new numbers, the show is choc full of fantastical treats.
Based on the novel by Roald Dahl and the Warner Bros film, the stage show has a book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Mark Shaiman and Scott Wittman. It is directed by James Brining and designed by Simon Higlett.
The show will also visit Sunderland Empire (August 2-13, 2023), Hull New Theatre ( September 6-16, 2023), and Liverpool Empire (November 8-26, 2023) in the north.
