The full cast has been selected for writer Torben Betts' new thriller Murder at Midnight, which sets out on a UK tour later this year.
Joining Jason Durr as Jonny "The Cyclops", Susie Blake as Shirley and Max Bowden as Paul will be Katie McGlynn as Lisa, Callum Balmforth as Russell, Peter Moreton as Trainwreck and Iryna Poplavska as Cristina, with Bella Farr and Andy McLeod also in the cast.

Aiming to prove that even the best-laid plans can unravel spectacularly when the wrong people are in the wrong place at exactly the wrong time, the play follows one-eyed Jonny - affectionately known as “The Cyclops,” - who is holding a New Year’s Eve party when a trail of destruction emerges.
Director Philip Franks says the new play, from Original Theatre Company, is “a dark and often very funny thriller set in the luxury Kent mansion of a one-eyed drug dealer, pig farmer... and possible gangland killer.”
Betts's most recent success was the similarly-titled 2023 thriller Murder in the Dark, which followed events in an isolated cottage after an extended family's car crash - and which also featured Susie Blake.
The only northern date this year is York Theatre Royal (October 21-25) but the tour now continues into 2026 at Salford's Lowry (January 19-24); Blackpool Grand (January 27-31); the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton (February 23-28) and Darlington Hippodrome (March 31-April 4).
