Pretty Woman the Musical to tour in 2027

We're heading back to Beverly Hills as Pretty Woman The Musical hits the road again for a major 2027 UK tour, following a record-breaking run in the West End and a sell-out first UK tour in 2023.

Starting in Wimbledon in March, the tour's second date is at Manchester's Palace Theatre (March 23-April 3, 2027), followed by other northern appearances at York Grand Opera House (April 20-May1); Sunderland Empire (June 29-July 3); Hull New Theatre (July 13-17); Leeds Grand (July 27-31) and Liverpool Empire (August 31-September11, 2027).

Vivian and Edward are the unlikely soulmates who overcome all odds to find each other - and themselves - in this unlikely take on the Cinderella story.  A cast for the tour is still to be chosen.

Featured in the musical is Roy Orbison and Bill Dees's international hit song Oh, Pretty Woman, which was the inspiration for the movie, which was an international hit on release in 1990. The musical stage version had its world premiere in Chicago in 2018 before transferring to Broadway, and the show opened in London in 2020, when it ran for three years.

The musical is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray), an original rock score by Grammy winners Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance and a book by the film's director Garry Marshall and screenwriter JF Lawton.
