That glittering extravaganza of inspiration, triumph and... glittery boots, Kinky Boots, comes to Storyhouse in Chester next May.
Kinky Boots struts its way on to the Storyhouse stage (May 3-18) with its Tony- and Grammy-winning score by pop star Cyndi Lauper and book by Tony-winner Harvey Fierstein.
Based on the movie of the same name, the show is the story of Charlie Price, who inherits a suffering shoe factory and after a meeting with drag queen Lola, starts embracing a more flamboyant business model.
Suzie Henderson, creative director of Storyhouse said, "We are thrilled to be producing this for audiences in Chester! This jubilant production is a vibrant reminder to celebrate life triumphantly."
