The Big Tiny is family-friendly

Bolton-based The Big Tiny pantomime producers are back at Manchester's Contact Theatre from December 10-31 with Sleeping Beauty.
Their Rumplestiltskin, at Contact last Christmas, won a UK Pantomime Award nomination and five star reviews.
The Big Tiny has a particularly family-friendly approach with its shows, making them suitable for even first-time theatre goers. The company always adds Relaxed, BSL interpreted, schools and adults-only performances to its run.
The company's artistic director, Will Cousins, said: "Every year we try to create a panto that feels joyful, surprising and genuinely welcoming for everyone. Sleeping Beauty has all the ingredients audiences expect, but we've had great fun putting our own spin on the story."
This year's cast includes Liz Carney (Cinderella, at rival panto producer Manchester Opera House, also Shirley Valentine; Calendar Girls the Musical and Coronation Street) as wicked fairy Carabosse; Samuel Chisnall (Greatest Days; The Snow Queen) as Chester the Jester, and Rebecca McAuley (Hansel & Gretel).
Returning will be Shanon Farrell as Sleeping Beauty and Joshua Radcliffe as Prince Toby, following their appearances as the prince and princess last year.
Actor-musician Lewys Taylor, who has worked for Audible and BBC Bitesize, plays King Harold, while director Will is also Nanny Ancoats.
