Do you fancy going to the theatre for a change? Then Passing Moustache from Liverpool's Make It Write Productions at Hope Street Theatre (March 1-2) could be the show for you as it tackles the dynamics of change with a series of interlinked conversations and interactions.

A comedy, a love story, a biography, a tragedy and a psychological unravelling of lies and mysteries, the show set in the city of Liverpool, with the city's port foghorns, ships engines and sounds of the sea to the fore.

Writer Edward Gray said: “The show is a theatrical look at our feelings and reactions to change. Our resistance, aversion, fear or embrace of change in ourselves or others."

The show has references to sexual activity, suicide, paedophilia, mental health and domestic violence, and uses some offensive language, making it suitable only for those 16 and over.
