The Wind in the Willows, is the Christmas show for Prescot's Shakespeare North Playhouse, November 24-January 13.
Adapted by Toby Hulse from Kenneth Grahame’s classic story, the show is billed as special tribute to the late renowned comedian and entertainer Sir Ken Dodd, as it was one of his favourite books.
Sir Ken's foundation was one of the theatre’s most important supporters and the Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden at Shakespeare North Playhouse has been named in his honour, serving as a memorial to his life and contributions to the entertainment industry.
The adaptation of the timeless tale of Toad, Mole, Ratty, and Badger is directed by director Julia Samuels.
