Hit musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie launches a celebratory UK 10th anniversary tour next year.

Opening at Leeds Grand (January 15-23, 2027, the tour moves to northern dates at: Chester Storyhouse (January 26-February 2, 2027); Sunderland Empire (February 9-13); Sheffield Lyceum (March 6-13); Manchester Palace (March 15-20) and Liverpool Empire (March 30-April 3), with further tour dates and casting still to be announced.

Billed as possibly the final tour the show will make (until other revivals, presumably), the forthcoming tour follows a record-breaking, three-year West End residency, two previous sold-out UK and Ireland Tours and the Amazon Studios award-winning film.

The new show will open in Leeds 10 years after the original opening at the Sheffield Crucible, which preceded the West End run and national and international tours, including the USA, Korea, Japan and Italy.

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. He doesn’t quite fit in, but supported by his loving mum and surrounded by his friends, he overcomes prejudice, beats bullies and steps out into the spotlight.

Producer Nica Burns said “Ten years ago I got on a train to Sheffield to see the final matinee of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and 10 years later this heart-lifting true story has played every inhabited continent."

Director Jonathan Butterell said, “It will be 10 years next February since Jamie first stepped into the world; 10 years since the people of Sheffield celebrated his story at The Crucible. We couldn't be more grateful for the Jamie family we share across the globe and are so excited to bring a new Jamie into UK theatres next year.”
