Dynamo on first UK tour for a decade

World-renowned, Bradford-born magician Dynamo launches his new tour Up Close and Magical - his first UK tour for 10 years - at Salford's Lowry in the New Year (January 17-21, 2027). Other northern dates are Leeds City Varieties (February 1-5), and Bradford Playhouse (March 2-7).

Steven Frayne - better known by his stage name - said: “Over the last few years I’ve fallen back in love with magic in a way I never thought possible. Performing this show reminds me why I started this journey in the first place - not for television or big stunts, but for those moments of wonder shared between people. That’s what Up Close and Magical is all about. After an incredible run in London last year I’m excited to take the show across the UK in 2027.”

Up Close and Magical is a showcase of magic from across Dynamo’s career to date. Best known for his headline-grabbing stunts, for the past two decades Dynamo has created a global legacy including sold-out arena tours, best-selling books and multiple awards.
