More actors have joined star Rufus Hound for a national tour of new comedy thriller The Other Side of Murder.
Hound (One Man Two Guv’nors, Wind in the Willows) plays TV medium Darius Divine, and will be joined by Susie Blake (Victoria Wood, Coronation Street), Aisha Jawando (Hamilton, Tina: The Musical); Beth Lilly (The Play That Goes Wrong, Grantchester) and Andy McLeod (Murder at Midnight, Cosmic) as Jason.
Mold-based Theatr Clwyd is co-producing the show with Original Theatre, written by Torben Betts, who has already scored hits with Murder at Midnight and Murder in the Dark.
This time celebrated TV medium Divine - host of hit light-entertainment show The Other Side - plans a cosy family dinner, expecting awkward small-talk. What he doesn't expect are his pregnant lover, his Gilbert and Sullivan-obsessed mother-in-law, and a night of ghostly visitations and explosive revelations.
The tour opens at Theatr Clwyd from September 4-12, with more northern dates at Blackpool Grand (October 20-24); Darlington Hippodrome (February 16-20, 2027) and Leeds Playhouse (February 3-7), with more venues still to be announced.
