The mammoth 20th anniversary UK tour of hit musical Jersey Boys will run into the middle of 2027, producers have announced.
The inside story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons has won 65 major awards and been seen by over 30 million people around the world.
First northern date on the new tour will be Bradford Alhambra (July 20-August 1, 2026), followed by: Venue Cymru in Llandudno (August 3-8, 2026); Manchester Palace (September 7-19); Hull New Theatre (September 28-October 3); Blackpool Opera House (May 17-22, 2027); Sunderland Empire (May 25-June 5, 2027); Leeds Grand (June 7-19, 2027) and Sheffield Lyceum (June 21-July 3, 2027), before the tour concludes at Liverpool Empire from July 19-24, 2027.
The show, which tells the tumultuous story of onstage perfection and offstage gambling, debt and divorce, features all their hits, including Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Beggin’, Oh What a Night and more.
Jersey Boys originally opened in New York in 2005, and by the time it closed in 2017 was the 12th longest running show in Broadway history. It first ran in London from 2008-2017, at the time the 6th longest musical running in the West End.
Producer Michael David said: “When the show first opened on Broadway 20 years ago little did we know the story of these four blue-collar kids from the wrong side of the tracks would resonate across the UK."
The 20th anniversary UK production will be staged by the entire original Broadway creative team, led by Tony award-winning duo director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo.
