Giving extra value for money, Peripeteia Theatre is at Salford fringe venue the Kings Arms (March 10-14), with a double bill of Bump - the company's 25th production in its six-year history - and Jackpot, its 26th show.
In Bump, three men are in a stark railway waiting room, tickets in hand, for the most life-changing journey they’ll ever take as different versions of masculinity collide...
In Jackpot, Charlotte is going about her own business when a single punch jolts her from her mundane, comfortable life into a world of fixation, desire, and blood lust.
Both are written by London-based Kate McCloud. Jackpot was shortlisted for the 2025 Alpine Fellowship Theatre Prize.
Peripeteia was founded and is led by Adam Cachia. The company was founded and is based in Manchester and Adam serves as production director for the annual JB Shorts festival of new writing.
Peripeteia aims to create art that demonstrates aspects of the current world and reflects the current social and political climate.
This includes touring, as well as the creation of Peripeteia’s Digital Hub (2022), in which audiences can watch content, including past productions, free; and the launch of Peripeteia’s community outreach programme, The Boiler Room.
