Run of Dorian Gray extended

The producers of the critically-acclaimed digital adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray have extended the run for an extra two weeks only, until April 17.

The starrily-cast production, seen online, has already been a New York Times Critics’ Pick selection. Star Fionn Whitehead, in the title role, is joined by Alfred Enoch as Harry Wotton, Joanna Lumley as Lady Narborough, Emma McDonald as Sibyl Vane, Russell Tovey as Basil Hallward and features Stephen Fry as the Interviewer.

The show uses elements found in radio plays, films, and documentaries as well as traditional theatrical techniques, to retell the classic tale of Faust for a modern, social-media-aware, generation.

The producers found nationwide theatre partners to present the show and market tickets. Local audiences can book through the Bolton Octagon here

Ticket buyers receive a link that activates on the booked performance date for 48 hours. Tickets are £12, which includes a digital programme. Closed captioning and audio description are available for all dates. Our original story can be seen here
