Shawna Hamic (Orange is the New Black, 1776 on Broadway) and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star River Medway (Death Drop: Back in the Habit) lead the cast of outrageous musical parody Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula The Sea Witch on its latest UK tour, calling at northern dates The Lowry, Salford (February 22-March 2); Liverpool Playhouse (March 5-9); Bradford Alhambra (April 4-6); Blackpool Grand (May 21-25); Grand Opera House, York (June 10-15) and Newcastle Theatre Royal (July 2-4).

Hamic plays Ursula in her UK theatre debut, while Medway is Ariel. Fresh from sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and previous UK outings, this time around there's a new script and production, claiming to be "bigger, bolder, and sexier than ever before".

Ursula, the Disney villain from the screen classic The Little Mermaid, tells her story of what happened all those years ago under the sea from her perspective - with trademark filthy humour.

Shawna Hamic said: “I want whoever comes to see our show to have a fantastic time.”
