Catch the broom for Christmas

It has toured to Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and Poland, been translated into German and been nominated as Best Family & Entertainment production... and now Room On The Broom is flying in to The Lowry, Salford, for Christmas from tomorrow (December 7-January 8).

Based on the best-selling picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the show follows the Witch and her Cat, who are travelling on their broomstick when they pick up some hitch-hikers – a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a frantic frog. But this broomstick’s not meant for five and it snaps in two... just as a hungry dragon appears... The Salford run follows a season in the West End and is produced by London-based Tall Stories, which has been creating family shows for the past 25 years. With its mix of puppetry, sing-a-long songs and festive fun, it is recommended for everyone age three and above.
