Theatre by the Lake's new co-production with Hornchurch's Queen's Theatre comes from one-time Coronation Street actress-turned-writer, Amelia Bullmore.
Di and Viv and Rose (September 19-October 11) was a West End hit that explores the bond between three women across three decades - against a soundtrack of the music and culture of the 80s, 90s and Noughties
The cast is Sally Hodgkiss as Di; Amelia Donkor (most recently in His Last Report in York), and returning to TBTL after her role in The Secret Garden, Olivia Sweeney
as Rose.

Also returning to the Keswick theatre, where she was associate director on the 2022 production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane, is director Fay Lomas: “It's a funny, moving exploration of friendship across the years. The characters are lovable and relatable and there’s some excellent music! It's also a beautiful exploration of what it is to grow older alongside other people.”
TBTL’s temporary artistic director Julia Samuels said: "It’s exactly the kind of story we know our audiences will love: funny, hard-hitting and full of heart.”
