Regal Entertainments continues its policy of running a pantomime at peak periods of the year rather than just at Christmas. The company is back at St Helens Theatre Royal this October half-term with a cast of much-loved regulars in Jack and the Beanstalk (October 27-November 5).
Audiences can join Jack on his epic journey up the beanstalk as he discovers geese with golden eggs, a magic harp, and a close encounter with a very hungry giant.
X Factor and boy band Eton Road’s David Heath stars as Jack, with local favourite Lewis Devine as Simple Simon. The show also features favourites Maddie Hope Coelho as Princess Jill, Rachael Wood as Mrs Fleshcreep, Jenna Sian O’Hara as Fairy Mary, and Mark Two who plays Dame Dolly Trott.
The show is directed as usual by Chantelle Nolan, and choreographed by Nazene Langfield with musica by Callum Clarke.
Chantelle Nolan, who is also panto director and manager of the theatre, said: “The summer break is over and children are back at school, so we’ll soon be ready to welcome audiences back for our October half-term show."
