Wanted: hunky Prince for Cinderella

Poster for Epstein Theatre's "search for a prince" for Cinderlella this Christmas

They've already found their Cinderella - former Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn; the magic side of things is in the hands of Fairy Godmother and Liverpool Royalty Leanne Campbell, and the indispensable Buttons is Radio Merseyside presenter Kevin Duala...

Now the hunt is on for the perfect Prince to sweep Cinderella off her glass-slippered feet at Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre this Christmas (Decembber 5-January 4).

Prospective princes should be at least 5ft 10in tall and should be able to sing, dance and act equally well - as well as being charismatic and confident, with "leading-man" stage presence.

Director Chantelle Joseph said: “We’ve always been keen to support and nurture the acting talent in the region and beyond, and I know there’s a perfect Prince Charming out there, just waiting to sweep Cinderella off her feet this Christmas."

Actors keen to audition should send their showreel and CV to chantelle@sthelenstheatreroyal.co.uk by September 10.

The popular pantomime is one of the most highly-anticipated events in the theatre’s reopening autumn season, which will be launched with a Gala Night on September 19.
