Zog is flying into The Lowry in August for a 55-performance summer season (August 4-September 3).

Based on the best-selling book by Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, the stage adaptation is from the same team that created Stick Man, Tiddler and other Terrific Tales and Zog and the Flying Doctors.

This time Zog is eager to win a golden star at Madam Dragon’s school, where dragons learn everything dragons need to know. He tries perhaps too hard and bumps, burns and roars his way through years one, two and three. Luckily, plucky Princess Pearl patches him up ready to face his biggest challenge – a duel with knight Sir Gadabout the Great.

The cast features Danny Hendrix as Zog, Lois Glenister as Pearl, Ben Locke as Gadabout and Louise Grayford as Madam Dragon, with Eliza Waters as Pink Dragon/Woodland Creatures and Rhys Wild as Swing. The show suitable for children of all ages.
